Domestic Violence Prayer Breakfast with Still I Rise, Inc. and Council Chairman Franklin a Big Success!

Thank you to Still I Rise Inc. and Dr. Glenda Hodges for partnering to raise thousands of dollars towards establishing a new shelter for survivors of domestic violence at this morning’s Prayer Breakfast featuring U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry C. Black.  Thank you to Senate President Mike Miller, Delegate Diana Fennell, District Heights Commissioners Cynthia Miller and Harryette Irving, former State’s Attorney Glenn Ivey, Fire/EMS Chief Marc Bashoor, Assistant Sheriff Col. Darrin Palmer, Dem. Cent. Committee Member Rev. Jamila Woods-Jones, and Katherine Van Hollen for joining us and supporting this cause.  Prince George’s is Rising!
